Our name plaques are made of 3mm Acrylic.
All items are personalised and made to order so no two items are the same.
Please be advised all our items are hand-made acrylic and so may have some imperfections.
Dimensions:
All name plaques measurements are based on Width.
The height of the name plaques are approximately 20cm.
Height may vary depending on the letters on the name.
Longer names will result in a smaller font whereas smaller names will be stretched out to reach the width measurements.
Please be mindful when picking a font as some fonts are thinner than others and therefore will be more fragile. We thicken the font when cutting to ensure it is more durable.
Handling / caring and hanging acrylic. Acrylic is a material that is quite sturdy when it is a larger piece but once cut it becomes very fragile. Acrylic is quite similar to glass so if not handled correctly and falls, it will most likely break and/or shatter into pieces. 3M Velcro command strips is what we recommend to use when hanging acrylic as this does not ruin the walls. Please read the instructions carefully on the command strips and use at least 3 strips on the lighter acrylic and 5-6 strips on the heavier acrylic. For all accessory items (e.g small butterflies/hot air balloons) we recommend to use blue tac as these items are small and not heavy. Acrylic is not a toy.
